This is my contents page for my music magazine, i decided to use another image of the competition winner (May Yoneda) because she is around the age that the majority of the readers would be therefore they would find it alot easier to relate to, also it may attract their attention and make them want to read on because they may feel that they have a chance to end up in the same position as she did.
I used the colour pink again because it will attract the readers attention, and will make the magazine more appealing to them.
I used a technique used in many magazines for the small introduction section, by writing welcome in a large handwritten font (which immediately draws in attention), and then a small paragraph written by the editor introducing the reader to the magazine and what it consists of. This gives the contents a much more casual look, which would appeal to the reader alot more than if it had a very formal and plain feel to it.
I do however feel that more images could develop this page further and attract even more attention. I think a good way to do this would have been to put an image that relates to that section of the magazine by every small headline which would perhaps make the reader more intrigued to read on.
